Attitude of Gratitude
Psalm 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise.Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
David understood that gratitude was the gate providing entrance to the manifest presence of God.
One graphic event in the life of the Lord that is recorded when He ministered healing to ten lepers. Recall that Jesus gave direction to go and present themselves to the priests and as they went healing manifested for all of them. Only one returned and expressed his gratitude to the Lord. Jesus encouraged him declaring it was his gratitude that elicited faith.
Gratitude is a heart to heart communication that goes beyond words. Think of it, gratitude accesses His presence and expresses faith.
Today be grateful to the Lord.
