Opening Doors of Destiny for Hundreds of Pastors/Leaders
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” Phil. 1:3-6 (NKJV)
Our hearts echo what Paul wrote to the churches in Philippi when we think of you, our partners in harvest. You read our thanks, yet those 6 letters seem so trite & inadequate, but come from the depth of our hearts.
In a recent Bible Reading, the Lord opened my eyes as to just how strategic our giving is, whether that is to our local church, para-church ministry or missions. You will want to read this account for yourself in 1 Samuel 9. Israel has clamored for a king yet none had been selected yet. Saul and his unnamed servant were looking for donkeys that had been lost. Saul’s servant had heard that Samuel, a seer, was in a near by village. The custom of the day was to bring an offering for services rendered. Saul didn’t have any, but the servant had 1/4 of a shekel, which they gave to Samuel. He let them know the donkeys had been found already and Saul’s father was now concerned about his son’s safety and welfare.
That seemingly small and insignificant gift that equaled about 6 pence, which would be about 3 1/2 cents in US coin today. That small amount opened the destiny for Saul to become King. As a result of 3.5 cents, Saul’s servant enabled him to receive a prophetic word that unveiled his destiny, settled his heart over what had been lost, released an unexpected provision of bounty (an extra portion of meat) and positioned him for a place of honor.
When you are faithful to give tithes and offerings, that is what happens with your investment. DESTINY IS OPENED FOR PEOPLE!
You have given significantly more than Saul’s servant to CVMI, for which we’re so grateful. We want you to know that not only has your giving opened the door wider for our destiny and call from God, but your giving has opened the door of destiny for hundreds of Pastors & Leaders around the world.
