Tongue Writer

Psalm 45: 1   My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

This is referred to as a “song of love”, uttered initially and then written for our benefit.  The Psalmist knew his words were being written and the stylus was dipped in an ink well; rather his tongue had been dipped in the well of the love he had with God.

Our tongues must be ready to give an answer of the hope that lies within us, as well as etching the heart of God on the hearts of people.  What am I writing?  Is it faith, hope, love, encouragement, correction, blessing that is being inscribed or something less?

Why not write something that will bolster grace, release mercy and encourage faith?
