Upward Thinking

It has been said the mind is the battle ground for our faith.  Every action, motive begins as a thought.  When the saint of God is wins the ground for their mind, they are on the path toward maturity.

Col. 3:1, 2 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Think up, not down!

Essentially that is what the scripture is admonishing us to do, think up not down.  Think on Christ, meditate, and contemplate those things above; Christ our ultimate authority and guardian.  He is above and over it all.

Thinking up gives us His perspective, which has greater insight than our limited vision.  He will keep us in perfect peace, reveal unfathomable wisdom and great boldness.
