A Life That Matters

Charlie Kirk’s voice may be silenced, but that silence has been broken by the birth of a movement ushering in a last day’s revival.  We saw evidence of that in the Memorial Service for Charlie yesterday.

Contemplating events over the last couple of weeks, what makes a life that matters?

A life that matters isn’t measured by what has been attained, achieved, accomplished or acquired!  A life that matters is when it is lived for that which is greater than self…. that occurs when we invest in that which is eternal vs. that which is temporary.  It isn’t realized by titles, degrees or recognition.

A life that matters is the reward when we invest it in lives of others – enabling them to come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

A life that matters is the consequence of living for the Master!

He is the way the truth and the life!  No one comes to the Father by through Him.

Over the last several years dear friends, brothers and sisters in Christ have crossed the threshold into the eternal presence of Christ.   They were examples of having lived a life that matters because they on numerous occasions made investments for the eternal – the lives of men, women, boys and girls across the nation and around the world.

One of the great passions of mine is to have lived a life that matters.  I’ve not always lived that out with clarity.  There have been times of disappointment, it wasn’t intentional.  If I’ve wounded, hurt or disappointed you; I ask you to forgive me.

The challenge to myself is to live a life that matters.  Investing in that which eternal – lives of people.

Eternity is stamped in our hearts!  Let us live with and for that which matters!  The souls of humanity.
