God Knows!

Luke 19:1 – 5 Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”

A question we’ve all posed at one time “Does God even know or care?”  The unequivocal answer is a resounding YES!  Even in places that have been cursed, in this case Jericho, rebuilt after the walls had come tumbling down under Joshua and the army of the Lord.

A children’s chorus that is decades old still echoes truth about this “wee little man”.

Jesus, God, knew where Zacchaeus was.  He knew who he was, by name – not a bar code or number.  He knew why he was there.  He knew this little man’s heart desire, to see the Lord.

God sees where you are, He knows who you are, He understands why you’re there and knows what you desire!

Remember, God knows, He sees and He cares!
