God’s Expanding Family

Psalm 68: 6   God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

One of the great quandaries in our culture in spite of all the technology (which may be an unwitting contributor) is loneliness.  In particular with Gen Xers and Gen Zers.  Often they are very connected on social media, but personally are lonely, depressed and distressed.

Father God desires family that interacts and interconnects with one another so loneliness is countered with deep, covenant relationships.  The prosperity David refers to is that which is produced by being connected.  Rejection is a primary culprit of loneliness, furthering the great division between generations and genders.  Those disenfranchised souls are the one’s God wants to settle people His forever family.

These “solitary” ones are in every segment strata of society, from the homeless to high rollers.

Let’s retrieve them and bring them home!
