Reaping Based on Sowing

Gal. 6: 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Farmers understand the law of sowing and reaping, there is a season of seemingly “waiting” between the two.  Yet they understand there is something happening beneath the surface that will one day provide a harvest.

This truth has multiple applications, because it’s true regardless of what the “seed” is.

Yet the context is vital for growth and maturity for the Body of Christ.

The season of harvest may take longer to produce the desired fruit, during those seasons – hold steady and don’t give up on reaping the harvest.  Context is relationships!

The temptation is to give up too quickly on people in the process of restoration.  We need reminding of what the farmer knows about the “seed”, there are things taking place beneath the surface we can’t observe, but by faith we know it’s happening.  We can rest assured knowing that because of God’s Word.  We’ve sown restoration and we’ll reap the harvest of reconciliation if we hold steady, loving, caring, walking in the Spirit.

There’s a harvest to be reaped!
