2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
In two days we celebrate the discovery of those first seekers that found an empty tomb, a broken seal, a stone rolled away, empty grave clothes and a folded hanky. Mary was the first to have encountered the Risen Lord and her life and countless others were transformed in dramatic fashion over the next few days and weeks.
Yet the transformation continues and history is filled with those who were transformed that happens to this very day.
You have likely heard of the recent transformation of Kayne West that to say the least is a dramatic testimony of the Risen Lord’s impact.
All these are inspiring and encouraging to us. However until His resurrection and everlasting life has transformed us, personally, the story falls short.
My life is but one of myriads of transformed forever by His present day LIFE. Even though I was raised in a Christian home by Godly parents and special influencers who lived transformed lives before me, there came a time where I as Mary had a personal encounter with the Living Resurrected Lord.
My life was transformed and was set on a trajectory of adventure that was only a dream. Yet because of His great love for me and revealing Himself as He did to the two on the road to Emmaus, I am forever transformed.
I don’t know where your encounter took place or will take place; but I know this that when it happens a process commences leading to total transformation.
If you haven’t had that encounter as yet, today you can. You too can be among those who become new creatures in Christ. Simple faith in what He endured and provided by what happened on this day over two thousand years ago.
Transformed lives continue to write HIStory because He is alive! Why not add your saga to list of present day lives transformed by His resurrection?
