Eph. 4: 1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called
A worthy walk is possible because of His grace and His imputed righteousness. That’s God’s part, but what is our part in a worthy walk?
A worthy walk isn’t characterized by arrogance or pride; rather by humility, gentleness, patient, enduring relationships, & oneness in peace.
One characteristic that stands out to me is that of enduring relationships, “bearing with one another in love”, which entails humility, gentleness and patience with “one another”.
Are we as patient over the long haul with others as we desire others to be with us?
Sounds a lot like how Jesus walked during His life. I’m grateful He bears with me and hasn’t given up on me – or you!
