Responding to Conviction

Psalm 119: 59   I thought about my ways, And turned my feet to Your testimonies.

Conviction draws, condemnation drives!  We see that evidenced as the Psalmist found himself enticed and potentially ensnared by temptation to transgress.

Conviction initiated in our minds (conscience) is a means by which God delights to “draw” us back to Himself opposed to being driven away from Him by condemnation.  The young man responded immediately; he “made haste and did not delay” (vs. 60), even though it was late at night.

Respond immediately and restore that sweet fellowship with the Lord.
