Praying for Ministers

One of the most important things anyone can do for ministers, whether they are local or trans-local, is PRAY.  Here are prayer points on what to pray for them.

2 Thess. 3:1, 2   pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith.

Pray for the Word to have free expansion and be glorified.  This directive is about the message. The Word will accomplish its intended purpose, but it must be spoken or written to do that.  Also that there will be revelation given as they prepare the message  and for those who receive it.

Pray they will be protected from those who would distort, disrupt or discourage the Word from being delivered.  Every minister is a target of the enemy and it’s the prayers of saints that provide protection and discernment that will keep them and their family safe.

Pray the Word for them, as the Word is unequivocally the Will of God.  The letters of the New Testament are filled with specific prayers Paul prayed for his team.
