Little Foxes

Song of Solomon 2:15  The little foxes that spoil the vines, For our vines have tender grapes.

It’s not the “biggie’s” that rob, steal or destroy peace, joy, hope or faith; however it’s the “little foxes” that enter the vineyard of life that do exceedingly great damage.  Being cut off in traffic, technology that goes awry, things that create subtle stress are the little varmints the cut the flow of the Spirit.

To snare to capture those little things is to recognize them for what they are and the strategy behind them.  They are thieves that have full intent on making life less than abundant absent of recognition of His presence, His power and His purposes.

We accomplish that by taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.  This is at best short lived, a momentary issue.  This too shall pass.

Reject appeasement to those little critters and allow the joy of the Lord to permeate life, even what those little foxes desire to spoil your day.
