The Rest of the Story
A radio voice from the past, Paul Harvey, had a broadcast that would close with the phrase “And now you know the rest of the story”. That phrase would close his “story” about an individual that we might have heard of but didn’t know some significant part of their “story”.
Your story is still being written and the rest of the story has yet to be recorded. I can’t tell you any of the specifics that you will encounter, but there are a couple of things the Word of God says about “the rest of the story” for your life.
Jer. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God’s destiny for you includes a future of hope, a future of peace (wholeness).
1 Cor. 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
The rest of your story are unimaginable. There are places, people and opportunities that await you, all of them divine surprises.
The rest of the story isn’t written yet.
