Let Him Shine

Psalm 50: 2   Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.

God’s radiance is brilliant “out of Zion”, because that specific locale was where His presence was located.  Zion was the city God chose to reveal Himself to Israel; David’s tabernacle and eventually the temple, where all the contents gave graphic insight into the character and nature of Elohim.

Because of Jesus’s sacrifice on Calvary the presence of God was released to dwell within mankind.  Now God chooses to “shine forth” from and through those who have received the Lordship of Jesus and His sacrifice.  The Holy Spirit of God dwells within us and desires to “shine forth” from us.
