What God Wants

Psalm 50:15   Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

Reading the preceding verses, the Lord shares what He is truly after.  It wasn’t just the sacrifices, rather the ones who offered them was and continues to be His passion.

He wants us to “call” on Him, quite literally He wants us to “accost” Him when we’re in tight places, tough places.  Don’t fall into the snare that your “trouble” is too small, insignificant to God; or the other end of the spectrum that your “trouble” is too large.  Whatever you are facing that puts pressure or tries to limit you, He wants you to “call”!
