Story Tellers
Psalm 78: 4 We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.
Our grandsons love to hear of stories when we were young. Kathy has incredible stories about growing up on the farm in Ohio; they know the stories as well as her. I’ll over hear them say “Gaga tell us . . . .” and for the next few moments they’re captivated by her story telling.
Every generation faces challenges that we trust our children will never have to encounter or endure. There are lessons to be learned from those who have “been there and done that”, provided there’s a listening ear.
Some of the lessons are what “not to do”, others are encouragement to “stand” and others are just down right fun to hear.
Be a story teller of the things of God and His faithfulness to you coupled with the encouragement He is not partial to any generation.
