Antidote to Hardness of Heart

Psalm 95: 1   Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

The beginning of this Psalm starts better than it ends.  The conclusion is a stark reminder of Israel’s hardened hearts that led to rebellion that cost a generation the Promised Land.

In verses 3 – 7 we read of seven reasons to “sing to the Lord” with joy “to the Rock of our salvation” and not about.

Worship and praise are antidotes that build immunities to stony, hardened hearts.  There are instances when the song or shout are declared by faith, but sing and shout anyway.  It drives the enemy crazy.
