A Set Heart, Dwelling In Him

Psalm 91: 9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

Vs. 14  Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

Many of the blessings of God available to us are manifest when we do our part.  This beloved Psalm, perhaps second only to Psalm 23, vividly illustrates this.

When we make the Lord our refuge, our dwelling place there are at least seven benefits listed in this portion of God’s word alone; assurance, deliverance, protection, hedge against fear, freedom from curses, health and provision.

When our hearts are set on dwelling in His presence, God gives seven audacious promises given in the final three verses; deliverance, elevation, answered prayer, His presence, honor, full life and salvation.

Dwell in Him with a set heart!
