Benefits

Eph. 3:9  and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ.

One of the factors that often determine employment opportunities are the “benies” or “benefits”.  For the saint of God there are benefits that are discovered in the mystery of the Gospel which is “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).  There are benefits of having Christ in us!

The word “fellowship” often gives the idea of hanging out, interacting with other believers especially around food.  I love those times!  There is another way to understand koinonia, that is “benefits”.

A few of the benefits of Christ in us that are scripturally based include; acceptance by Almighty God and the Body of Christ, salvation, healing, deliverance, peace, power, prosperity, hope, love and the list goes on.

Know your benefits, remind yourself and discover what they are for you “in Christ”.
