Everlasting Father

Isa. 9:6  For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father

Too many have and are abandoned, orphaned literally, emotionally and spiritually.  Isaiah’s pronouncement dissolves not only the fear and anxiety of that but imparts a revelation of Messiah’s eternal fatherhood.

Rejection is succumbed by His eternality of love and compassion, because He knows our frame having walked among us.  This wasn’t just a walk in the park so to speak, it was identification with every facet of humanity; sorrow, pain, grief, rejection, betrayal.

As Eternal Father the promise of His being ever present with us, He won’t betray our confidence by abandoning us; rather He will never leave nor forsake us.  The epitome of commitment and loyalty.

The Eternal Father is Faithful!
