Faith Decisions

In making decisions by faith, in particular those that cut against the grain of natural reasoning, how are they made?  Is there a process by which they can be gauged?

YES!

Col. 3:15 TEV  The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful.

Another translation reads “let the peace of Christ act as an umpire”.  Here’s the point, when natural reasoning is counter to what a believer believes God desires for the saint to do, allow the peace Christ has “guide you in the decisions you make”.

You may not have a book, chapter or verse as a reference to make a choice on, however when the peace of God acts as an umpire you can rest in that.  If it’s a decision that involves your spouse or team; agreement is essential and God’s peace will enable you to be led.

Faith decisions are the result of God’s peace.  Let His peace guide you!
