Psalm 127: 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.
Worry disrupts life; getting up early, staying up late, unsatisfied meals all because of worry. In most instances, there is little control over the issues that prompt worry. Worry will steal rest if we permit.
Remember the Lord is not only the builder of our lives as well as our protector; He is our provider for sleep. This “sleep” goes beyond lying in bed resting from demands and gaining strength; it speaks of endurance over the long haul, if you will, a quality of life.
Have a great night of sleep!
