His Presence Brings His Perspective

Psalm 73: 2, 17 But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; My steps had nearly slipped. Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end.

Perspective has a great impact on our attitude.  Listening to “both sides of the story” is one way in which perspective is altered, resulting in understanding and reducing anxiety. Putting ourselves in the other person’s situation can have the same effect.  These apparently didn’t work for Asaph.

It wasn’t until Asaph accessed God’s presence “the sanctuary of God” that he was able to have God’s perspective on persecutors and antagonists to the things of God and His people.

Before judging, determine to position yourself in the Presence of the Lord, gain His perspective and move forward.  His presence not only can alter our perspective, but bring peace.
