Ignore Those Voices

Psalm 38: 15   For in You, O Lord, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God.

Prior to this declaration of faith David recounted being accosted by accusations and condemnation from the enemy.  He chose to be “like a man who does not hear” (vs. 14) the avalanche of condemnation and guilt.

There are times we simply need to ignore those voices and hope in the Lord, let Him hear and respond.  Retaliation is my natural inclination, yet when I walk in the Spirit there’s another kind of response – hope in Him because He’s my Lord and God Who hears!
