Jesus’ Present Day Ministry

Psalm 110: 4   The Lord has sworn And will not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”

This Messianic prophecy concerning the Lord Jesus Christ continues to this very day.  The primary function of the Melchizedek priesthood is that of gap standing, or intercession.

We’re reminded that “He ever lives to make intercession for us” (Heb. 7:25).  He’s still doing that today for you and me.  He knows, He sees, He hears and He’s moving on your behalf even now.

What’s He doing now?  He’s praying, interceding and standing in the gap for you.  Others may be oblivious to your challenges or needs, yet He is praying for you right now.

It’s awesome to know He’s our personal intercessor!
