Legacy

2 Thess. 1:3 – 6 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,
so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,

What is the scope of my faith, the limit of my love, the extent of my patience, the quality of my trust?  Paul saw and heard the testimony of these believers that is a personal litmus test for my walk of faith.

Is my faith expanding, my love unrestricted, my patience unlimited and trust uncompromised in the times of crisis and battle, my righteousness throughout suffering and my compassion evidenced toward those who afflict and incite against me?

There are many who have sown those qualities into my life, may I be faithful to pass along those to my prodigy and those the Lord has placed in my life.
