Neh. 3 Next to and After Him
There are two repeated phrases in this chapter, which provide a strategy that continues to be a source of encouragement and strategy against the enemy. Those two phrases are “next to” and “after him”.
When you study the origins these phrases, you’ll discover the first one means whatever resources you may have are available to whoever is next to you. The second phrase speaks of having someone’s back or covering their back side.
The Body of Christ needs to have those who will make whatever they have available to those they are standing with their resources to accomplish the purpose of the Kingdom of God. We also need those who will have our back’ that is we’re watching over them and watching out for them.
When these are implemented, we can be prepared to not only resist but be victorious.
