Isa. 49: 23 For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.”
Shame is an insidious strategy to demoralize while distracting the saint of God from exercising their gift given by and through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
The key is learning to “wait” for and on the Lord. Recall King Saul didn’t wait, presumed on the Word of the Lord and ultimately lost the kingdom.
Waiting isn’t idling sitting by with a Pollyanna mind set. Waiting on the Lord includes not only His timing but also binding His Word in our hearts and minds evidenced in our hopes and expectations. Literally, intertwining the Word of the Lord with our entire being.
Don’t succumb to shame, the blame of shame is gone as we “wait” on Him and in Him!
