One Function of the Present Day Church

Eph. 3:10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.

Many are the activities and strategies the present day Church is engaged in, much of it is profitable, yet there is one too often overlooked missing that can accomplish more than many that are often focused on.

Part of the present day ministry of the church is declaring and decreeing the will of God to “principalities and powers in heavenly places”.

The positional place of the church is one of authority over every work of darkness, which Paul exhorts the Church to declare “manifold wisdom of God” to.  The Church has the right and the responsibility to declare and decree the will of God over our homes, cities and nations.

Part of the manifold wisdom of God includes salvation, deliverance, healing, righteous living and provision to name a few.  The Church can speak to violence, prejudice, bias with boldness expecting strongholds to be broken.  Perversion must yield to wisdom of God.  Restoration and reconciliation of relationships and races, working together as one in Christ.

Be bold, be strong, be vocal to the principalities and powers in heavenly places.
