Praise Through
Psalm 35:18 I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.
Psalm 35:28 And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long.
In the throes of being assailed, accusations hurled, reputation ruined we have at least two options by which to respond; retaliation and revenge. Or is there another choice?
David found himself in such a predicament and opted for an out of the box response, praising the Lord and declaring the Lord’s goodness throughout the day of attack.
Worry, fret and distress will have little if any impact in altering the circumstance; however in the atmosphere of praise, thanksgiving and decreeing the goodness of God our attention is drawn heavenward, lifting our souls from the fray of the enemy because of the peace which passes understanding.
Praising through assaults and accusations will elevate our soul rather than complaining and spite.
