Sound Mind

2 Timothy 1: 7  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Reports would indicate that there is little if any soundness of mind as people are not just stocking up but operating with fear and greed hoarding.  When emotions run high as they are with many now, wisdom is often abandoned.

Timothy apparently found himself in questioning why, what and how; possibly experiencing the beginning of doubt and fear as to the legitimacy of his calling.

As a wise spiritual father, Paul reminds him fear isn’t from God.

The antidote is to remember that miraculous works, authentic agape and soundness of mind dispel and overwhelm every sense of inadequacy and intimidation.

When the enemy comes and attempts to coerce you into reacting versus responding or being;  proactive; remind yourself that you have His power, love and soundness of mind.
