Stop the Growth of Weariness
Gal. 6:9 let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Weariness seems to be pandemic in our world, even more so in our nation. Weary from the politics of mudslinging and vicious accusations, escalation of violence & hatred, malice toward Godly people and practices.
Note Paul admonishes the Galatian believers, writing from Corinth, primarily to correct aberrant doctrine to not “grow” weary.
Weariness is process, not an event that leads to condition of being “weary”. Weariness isn’t just being tired, goes beyond that.
Being tired generally is physical.
Being weary, generally affects mental, emotional, spiritual that impacts the physical.
There are a number things we can do to stop the growth of weariness, all of which stem back to being in the Word of God on a consistent basis.
1 way is to remember the Lord desires to renew and strengthen us.
Isa. 40:29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Who is your source in seasons of weakness? He has power available to the weak, He also will increase our strength. I.E. He’ll increase our capacity so that we can be strong even when confronted with impossibilities.
Stop the growth of weariness!
