Study the Word

2 Tim. 3: 16, 17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Why should we study the Word of God?  These verses and those preceding give us insight as to “why”.

When we study the Word we’re “complete”, fresh and whole.  Studying the Word precludes becoming stale, uninspired or dull.  When we’re complete, we’re equipped for every good work that intersects our life path.

Note “all scripture”, not just the ones underlined or highlighted in your Bible.

There’s a fresh smell in the atmosphere.
