The Scope of His Love

Jer. 31:3  The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:  “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

Jeremiah, in one of many appeals from the Lord to wayward Israel, unveils a powerful promise concerning the love of God and the means by which He desired for them to respond.

The power of His love is eternally attractive as He never withdraws His love that pulls us toward Him.  His love emanated toward us in our past, yet is never rescinded or withdrawn.  His love is an eternal tug wooing, drawing us to Himself.

The scope of His love is eternally attractive.  Receive and abide in that eternal love!
