The Walk of Faith
Every saint of God will encounter an opportunity to either walk in faith or walk according to natural senses. It is with those encounters our faith is strengthened and embolden for future opportunities to demonstrate God’s faithfulness.
2 Cor. 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
There those reading this that are facing a situation that will prove your faith as well as strengthen or improve your faith. Being thrust into a circumstance that the choice of either opting to do something that makes sense or by walking by faith. The rational choice conflicts with the faith option and therein lies the challenge.
Abraham faced such a challenge in his walk when asked by the Lord to offer up Isaac, the promised seed, through which Messiah would ultimately come. As the lad and his father are walking up the mountain Abraham is asked by Isaac where the sacrifice was, not knowing it was himself. Abraham’s response echoes through the corridors of time to you today “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering” (Gen. 22:8).
As a father and his son of promise are walking up one side of the mountain, a ram was walking up the other side and God provided the sacrifice.
I trust you read three words in verse eight, “God will provide”. When we walk by faith, God will provide!
Opt to walk by faith and discover God’s provision comes forth in response to your walk of faith! God will provide the answer, unveil direction, open doors as you walk by faith!
