Trinity of Christian Virtues

1 Thess. 1:3 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers,
remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,

This gathering of believers had belief in the Trinity (Father, Son & Holy Spirit), and in the Trinity of Christian Virtue; faith, hope and love.

They believed in faith’s activity and outworking, love’s pain and risks along with hope’s tenacity.  Faith isn’t ethereal, faith is belief in action.  Love is painfully risky, as there is no guarantee of any reciprocity.  Hope holds on, even in the midst of challenges and trials.

May that be our testimony as individuals but also with and for those we do life with.
