Trust Him
Psalm 64:10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him And all the upright in heart shall glory.
Recall Daniel’s overnight stay in the lion’s den? Persecuted for prayer to God and his faith in God didn’t seem right or just. Entrusting ourselves to God is risky, it requires unadulterated trust, confidence and faith in the unseen Presence.
However just as Daniel, David also knew that authentic trust would result in certain deliverance; even from hungry lions. I love the rendering first seen as a young child when being told the story of Daniel in the lion’s den with him sleeping while lying on a lion. That’s trust!
When we come to that place of trust there’s the certain reward of gladness “in the Lord” and saturation of His praise.
Trust Him!
