You Gotta Know!

Psalm 56: 9  When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me.

With Saul in pursuit, David is taken captive by the Philistines and everything seemed to be crashing in him, how does the shepherd respond?  Note the closing line of our verse, “This I know, because God is for me.”

David knew God would hear his voice and sweet deliverance would come based on the reality that Elohim, God, was “for” him.

One incredible characteristic of Almighty God is His consistency; He’s the same yesterday, today and forever, He’s no respecter of peoples, He is not willing that any would perish.  These are just a few of many.

You too need to know that GOD IS FOR YOU!  He’s not against you, there is no divine conspiracy plotting your demise; NEVER!  Rather Elohim is standing up for you, resourcing for you, watching over you, loving you!

Whatever would try to captivate you, know this GOD IS FOR YOU!
